Privacy Policy

Effective October 20, 2026 · Applies to wepicktv.com and the WePick TV app

WePick TV is run by Off The Drop Labs ("we"). We built it to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what that is.

What we collect

Anonymous usage counts. When you visit, get a pick, tap "pick again" or tap a watch link, we add 1 to a daily counter (for example "picks today"). These counters contain no name, email, IP address, device ID or cookie, and can't be tied back to you. They're kept for about 13 months.
Your email, only if you subscribe. If you choose to join the newsletter, your email address is sent to Kit (kit.com), our email provider, and used only to send WePick TV emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to delete it.

We don't use advertising trackers or cross-site cookies, and we don't create accounts or profiles.

Stored only on your device

Your streaming services, preferences, watchlist and notification time are saved in your browser's local storage or in the app's on-device storage. They aren't sent to us. Clearing site data or uninstalling the app deletes them.

Notifications (app)

The app can send an optional daily "Tonight's pick" reminder at a time you choose. It's a local notification scheduled on your phone. It's off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off in Settings or in your phone's settings at any time.

Services we rely on

Cloudflare hosts the site and its API. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and basic request data to deliver the page and protect against abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Kit stores newsletter emails (see Kit's privacy policy).
Streaming availability data comes from the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night. Our server makes those lookups; your personal data isn't sent to them.

Links to streaming services

Watch buttons open Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video and other services. Once you leave WePick TV, that service's own privacy policy applies.

We don't sell your data

We don't sell, rent or share personal information for advertising, and we never will.

Children

WePick TV is a general-audience service and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has subscribed, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time, ask us to delete your email, or ask what we hold about you (for most people, nothing). Email offthedroplabs@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
